Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel
Communities actively engaged in education & social upliftment, building a fraternal society through value-based endeavors, trusting in God and inspired by St. Louis Marie De Montfort.
Who We Are
We, the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel, live in communities actively engaged in education and social upliftment. Together with all our associates, by our value-based educational endeavors, we hope to build a fraternal society by molding the personality of each individual under our care, trusting in God and drawing inspiration from our Founder St. Louis Marie De Montfort.
Faith & Harmony
We are members of the Church and work in harmony with its teachings. We strive to make the dream and vision of St. Montfort a reality, to inculcate his unique style and Charism. Gabriel Deshayes gave a new impetus to the Brothers, stressing particularly the importance of the teaching profession.
Our Consecration
We live out our consecration to God through the three vows: Poverty, Chastity and Obedience. Our pledge to young people is to deepen our credibility as 'signs and bearers of God's love' to each of them. Our preferential option is to work among the poor and the abandoned people in the society.
Living the Charism
Led by the Spirit, the Brotherhood is a journey each of us has chosen to commit wholly at the service of God, the Church and men. Recognized in the Catholic Church since 1910 as a Religious Institute of pontifical right, dedicated to apostolic works.

Present in 30 countries, witnessing Christ through our educational ministry — schools, colleges, technical institutes, and social missions.
Preferential Option for the Poor
We stand with abandoned communities, urban slums, remote villages, and people on the margins, living the gospel of mercy.
Our Pledge to Young People
"To deepen our credibility as signs and bearers of God's love to each of you." We commit to holistic formation, value-based education, and empowering future leaders who uphold fraternity, integrity, and social responsibility.
