The Department of Arts explores society, intellectual ability and personality development of individuals through various disciplines. It provides insights into culture, politics, human behaviour, communication skill through all round education in fostering critical thinking and analytical skills.
The Department of Arts offers courses in core disciplines like Political Science, Psychology, Modern Language (English) and Mass Communication & Journalism. Languages offered are English, Telugu, Hindi, Sanskrit and French. The Department of Arts has also introduced PG program in the academic year 2021-22.
Students gain a comprehensive understanding of political systems, human behaviour, media dynamics, and linguistic proficiency, preparing them for a wide range of career paths.
To enhance various aspects of students' academic and linguistic skills, the Department of Arts has established 4 clubs. Through interdisciplinary studies and experiential learning opportunities, students develop a well-rounded education that prepares them for success in an interconnected world.
