Horizon Club – 'Where the Ends Meet'

The English Literary Club "Horizon – Where the Ends Meet" at Little Flower Degree College, Uppal, has been active since 2018, collaborating with the English and Modern Language (English) Department.

Horizon serves as a convergence platform for liberal arts and fine arts, inspired by Aristotle's quote: "Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all." The club aims to nurture intellect, creativity, and emotional intelligence through words, colours, and expressions.

The club plays a crucial role in expanding literary knowledge and fostering imaginative thinking, embracing classical authors like Chaucer and Shakespeare, contemporary voices like Jane Austen and Arundhati Roy, and artists like Michelangelo and Pablo Picasso.

Objectives:

• Improve one's ability to think logically, solve problems and feel confident.
• Excite speculation and comprehend social, political, and moral concerns globally.
• Make our Campus a better place where every student would live many lives through books and fine arts thus empathising with fellow students and fellow humans.
