IQAC strives to develop a system for conscious, consistent & catalytic improvement through professional development. It provides access to ICT, promoting inclusive practices and fostering a positive culture in the institution.Monitors the implementation of quality enhancement measures and suggests strategies for enrichment of teaching and learning process.

Objectives

  • Enhancing academic quality: Continuous evaluating and improving teaching, learning, and assessment processes.
  • Facilitating research and innovation: provide support and resources for faculty and students to engage in research activities.
  • Promoting stakeholders engagement: Involving students, faculty, alumni and parents in quality enhancement processes. and extracurricular activities.
  • Institutionalising best practices: establishing mechanisms for the best practices across all aspects of college operations.
  • Continuous improvement: cultivating a culture of self-assessment and improvement to meet evolving educational needs and standards.

Functions:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures aligned with the institutional goals.
  • Coordinate and facilitate a learner centric environment conducive for academic and non academic activities.
  • Conduct regular internal assessments and evaluation to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of the institution.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance student support services such as counselling, mentoring, career guidance and placement assistance.
  • Establish a mechanism for collecting and analysing feedback from various stakeholders
  • Conduct academic and administrative audits to ensure transparency and quality of education, research and administrative processes within the institution.

Strategies:

  • Ensure that quality assurance efforts support the institution's vision and mission.
  • Enhance institutional quality and effectiveness through appropriate development action plans.
  • Implement systematic mechanisms to monitor, evaluate and enhance the quality of teaching, learning and administrative practices within the institution.
  • Promote innovation, experimentation and best practices in teaching learning process.
  • Engage in benchmarking activities with peer institutions to compare performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
