G-Suit for Education
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, LFDC has swiftly adapted to remote learning, with platforms like G Suite and Google Meet emerging as invaluable tools for both faculty and students. These platforms offer numerous advantages, facilitating seamless communication, collaboration, and learning experiences regardless of physical distance. For faculty, G Suite provides a comprehensive suite of productivity tools, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, enabling streamlined creation, sharing, and collaboration on documents, presentations, and spreadsheets. Google Meet, integrated within G Suite, offers a reliable video conferencing solution for virtual lectures, tutorials, and office hours. Students have been provided with their own official college email IDs, granting them unlimited storage capacity. The students have benefited significantly from G Suite and Google Meet as they can work together on assignments and projects in real-time, facilitating peer learning and teamwork despite physical separation.
