Alan Turing Club

(Physical Sciences - Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Electronics and Computer Science)

Alan Turing Club was formed in the year 2018-19, and is named after Alan Mathison Turing, an English, Mathematician, Computer Scientist, Logician, Cryptanalyst, Philosopher and Theoretical Biologist. He is considered the father of Theoretical Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Alan Turing Club aims to foster a community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for exploration and discovery. The club comprises all the physical science departments viz; Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Electronics and Computer Science.

The Alan Turing Club involves students in activities to foster interest and learning enthusiasm in the field of science.

Objectives:

• Promote inquisitiveness and inculcate scientific temper among the students.
• Encourage, motivate and equip the students in application of science and its interface with society.
