Faculty of French

French is crucial for global communication, cultural appreciation, and business. It's spoken worldwide. It's an official language in international organizations, crucial for trade, and rich in literature. It enhances travel experiences and personal growth.

The Faculty of French is following the common core syllabus which is unitized by Osmania University. The syllabus is divided into lessons, vocabulary, culture and civilization, grammar, and exercises; verb structures are first discussed thoroughly using easy to understand, day-to-day examples.

For the enhancement of the subject knowledge we also organize Guest Lectures, Field Trips, Workshops, usage of interactive tools and activities like watching French movies, listening to music.

Objectives

• To study language through culture and civilization.
• To help students acquire perfection in speaking, reading, and writing French, enabling effective communication in various contexts.
• To prepare students to interact confidently and competently in French-speaking environments like travel, work, or international relations.
• To enable students to pursue their higher studies in French that enhance their career prospects in fields such as international business, diplomacy, translation, teaching, and tourism.
• To help the students grow and contribute to the multicultural community by its openness to diversity.
