PETER DRUCKER CLUB

The Department of Management established the Peter Drucker Club in the year 2019-20 to honour Peter Ferdinand Drucker, Austrian-born, American Management Consultant, Educator, and Author.

The club seeks to motivate and promote coordination, discipline, and leadership qualities, and develop an interest in co-curricular activities among students of the various programs which are designed and balanced with the academic curriculum, helps students to learn beyond subject and fosters the sense of social responsibility, integration, and inculcates service in the society, nation and the world.

Objectives:

• Improve communication, coordination and define areas of interest that encourage entrepreneurial, managerial, organisational, HR, and public relation skills.
• Empower innovation and team spirit among students.
• Engage students to go beyond theoretical knowledge, gain practical knowledge about business practices
• Reinforce a positive work environment to withstand the challenges in the corporate world.
• Inculcate skills and techniques of various tools of management for the attainment of organisational goals.
• Emphasise the importance of planning for long-term success and also play a key role in guiding and directing the young managers.
