Mock Interview (In Collaboration with Placement Cell)

Mock interview was organized by the Department of Management in collaboration with the Placement Cell of Little Flower Degree College on 29th of July 2017. The Department of Management has invited the Human Resource executives from various multinational companies. Mr. sunny jaicob from Genpact, Manoj from I lab, Vineet Anand from Genpact, Abhishek from Deloitte, Fatima from Genpact, Meher, public relations in international business school, sandeep neol and sunil have conducted the mock interview in the college premises. Sessions have been taken up by them giving guidelines to the students how to perform in the interview, requirement of the company, types of jobs offer by the companies. After the session the students are divided into the groups and mock interview conducted by the H.R.in the process of the interview H.R. point out the mistake of the student personally where they need to improved their knowledge, skill and ability while facing the interview. For this department of management gives assessment form to students based on their performance in the mock interview.

Seminar on Interview Etiquettes

The seminar was conducted in little flower degree college on 17th august 2017 with topic as ‘Interview etiquette’. We had guest speaker as vandana pendyam who is a HR professional in DB healthcare Inc. she has work experience of 7 and a half years and worked with various organizations and various clients like Google, Microsoft, Disney etc.., her core experience was into USA recruitment. We have invited her to empower our students with various etiquette that are to be followed in an interview. The seminar started at around 11.45 and continued for about hour and a half. The program started off with profile reading and followed by Miss. Vandana seminar . She has covered various aspects related to the topic. She has empowered our students with various do’s and don’t’s at interviews. She has given a power point presentation with various written slides and also an audio with many motivational lines. After the session our rev. brother Vincent reddy has given the momento on behalf of the college to Miss. Vandana. Post which the vote of thanks was proposed on behalf of the staff and students. The session was concluded by taking feedback from the students. The overall session has been helpful to our students in gaining certain key points to be followed in an interview

Educational trip to Vishwa Vishwani Institute of Management

The seminar started off by felicitating the staff who accompanied the students. They conducted a seminar to make students understand the value of a Masters in Business administration and also the difference between a diploma course and Masters Course. We had two guest speakers for the day. The first person has enriched students about growth of technology in management activities and growth of digital marketing in India currently and its future prospects. It was very informative and interactive session. The second speaker helped students in understanding importance of time and also importance of education and hard work to succeed in career. The session ended with collection of feedback from the students and followed by a vote of thank by our students. The seminar was followed my lunch, campus tour and a word with the principal of the college. The overall session was quite informative and interactive.

Visit to District Court (Ranga Reddy)

The Management students of Little Flower Degree College have been taken on a visit to the Ranga Reddy District Court, LB Nagar to enable them to understand how the proceedings in the court takes place. 46 students eagerly have come forward to witness the working environment of the District Court. The students have left the college premises at 9:30 and reached the destination at 10:00. The students have been divided into groups of 5 and each group has been taken around to witness the different types of trials taken up at the family court, additional senior court, district court, sessions court, Lok Adalat etc. The judge of the Consumer Forum was on leave and the students were very much disappointed for not being able to witness the proceedings of the Consumer Forum. They were able to gather immense practical knowledge about the subject of Business Law and were able to relate to the subject in a much efficient manner.
